Okay this isn’t infertility related. This is something that’s been making my blood boil over the past month (and probably increasing my prolactin too). I bought two suits from Utsav Fashion (spending A LOT) – waited weeks for the suits to arrive only for them both to be of different sizes.. tiny.. and one was nothing like the picture. I just rubbed my temples and knew I’d have to spend even more on substitutes. I’m left with two suits that I can’t wear.
The people who email from Utsav are polite, I can’t scowl at that but now they’ve asked me to take even more pics of the garments with a measuring tape. For a company that’s supposed to have quality customer service, I don’t think this is okay.. I shouldn’t even have to take pics! How the hell am I supposed to take a full length photo of an outfit and still capture the measurement??
Would I recommend Utsav? At the moment -no. Now I know that even if I spend $200, I go into the low priority queue.
I found this ironic
Email asking for feedback – according to their marketing I’m their ‘highest priority’ apparently
That’s not what customer service are saying – in reality I’m ‘low priority’
So Utsav if you’re reading this.. please match up to the promise and find a solution!!
Update: Well, looks like I’m not alone.. http://www.mouthshut.com/review/Utsav-Sarees-Jaipur-review-uqmmnqspmn
So really I’ll be lucky if anything gets resolved. Leaving this link here for others to read reviews before they buy from the site. I wish I had read it before trusting them. Argh.
That does seem like more hoop-jumping than should really be necessary. A friend of mine just told a story about how she ordered a dress on amazon.com and instead she was sent Nazi armbands!! Good luck with customer service!
I have tried Cbazaar.com and I always got great service. Cbazaar is great for its designing, fitting capabilities and it is unparalleled when you are buying Indian clothing.
Thanks for the recommendation. I think Utsav have put me off buying Asian clothes on the net for now. I’d rather buy from local shops and give them the business. That way I can see what I’m buying.
