How infertility makes women feel

I was reading “What do you do when no one understands your fertility challenges (or other health conditions)?” – thankfully most my friends do understand.

I think the worst reaction I had was “Is he shooting blanks?”

In the article there’s a link to leaflet that you can give to your friends to help them understand what you’re going through. I don’t think I’d go around handing out leaflets but I would explain it to them.

I read these two paragraphs at the end of the leaflet and thought ‘OMG.. I’m not alone. Others feel this way too.’ I really do feel like my life is on hold. So many women manage to juggle this journey with holding down a ‘normal’ life. Mine at the moment is nothing less than a mess.

Oh, what a power is motherhood, possessing
A potent spell. All women alike
Fight fiercely for a child.
